I went one-on-one with Chris Denker from NetScoutsBasketball talking the draft including NCAA and international players. A focus is given to how rookies can impact poor teams and when trading down is an option for teams with high picks, this is with a view to drafting someone like Kyrie Irving and Harrison Barnes. Positive and negative hype tends to move players around in the draft and this could be an issue again this year, find out which player to look for. There’s a ton more player analysis in this 22 minute Rapcast including the man Denker loves – his name rhymes with Hollinger. We also talk Enes Kanter and other European prospects, one of whom Chris compares to Pau Gasol and leads him to believe that this could be an ‘international draft’. Listen and enjoy:
