Kentucky Asks N.C.A.A. To Revisit Kanter Eligibility

The University of Kentucky is asking the N.C.A.A. to take a second look at the eligibility of the freshman center Enes Kanter. The university and the N.C.A.A. put out a joint statement saying Kentucky had asked to submit additional information. The N.C.A.A. student-athlete reinstatement staff ruled the 6-foot-11 Kanter ineligible last month because he received benefits above actual and necessary expenses while playing for a club team in Turkey.
